Behind Big Click Energy

Paulann Egelhoff:

From forensics to full-fantasy cosplay photography, here's a little peak into my journey...

...From a young age, I've been captivated by all forms of art, constantly drawing, painting, and playing guitar, but I never would have guessed I'd be a professional photographer. My journey into professional photography began unexpectedly while working for a Norwegian historical documentation company. In 2007, while living in Bergen, Norway, a wonderful employer, who became a dear friend, handed me a professional-grade camera, believing I had potential. He was right.

After living and working in Norway for a few years, I returned to the States and found myself managing one of the last Sears Portrait Studios before they closed. My passion for photography reignited in 2014 when I attended Phoenix College to study Photoshop. With some previous coursework in Forensic Photography, I was just a few credits away from a degree in Digital Photography, so I earned one. Since then, I've started my own business, first under my name and now as Big Click Energy. It may be a bit silly, but that's exactly why I chose this moniker. It's memorable and easier to spell than "Paulann Egelhoff."

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I look forward to working with you and capturing your moments with Big Click Energy!
